Your first visit is designed to help us understand what's bothering you, how it's affecting your movement, and what you want to get back to doing. We'll perform an appropriate exam and movement assessment, explain what we find, and begin treatment that day when appropriate.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
1. Talk
Tell us what's bothering you, what you've tried, and what you want to get back to doing.
2. Assess
We'll look at movement, strength, and other orthopedic or neurological testing when appropriate.
3. Treat
Most patients receive treatment on their first visit when it's appropriate and safe to do so.
4. Make a Plan
We'll explain what we found and what we recommend moving forward.
